Science Fair packets were sent home on January 4th in your child's graded paper folder.  PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE A BOARD.  Students will receive their boards as they rotate to Science Lab.  Several parents have already had questions.  Hopefully, this will help.

*  Science Fair is MANDATORY for 4th and 5th grades.  It will be counted as a test grade.

* Students may not work as partners on this project.

* Students must get approval from their science teachers prior to starting their projects.  Send in Pacing Guide Sheet to be initialed.

* Once your child's idea is approved by his/her teacher, he/she may work ahead and turn their projects in early if complete.

* Students may not make slime as a science fair project.  Students need to find projects that compare data/differences between variables and must be able to document data.  We have been doing this in the science lab.  This is not new to your child.

ALL PROJECTS ARE DUE ON OR BEFORE FEBRUARY 5TH.
