This is my seventh year of teaching fifth grade math and science at Oak Grove Central. I am a graduate of Ole Miss University, and I enjoy every opportunity to learn new ways to teach my students. Three years ago, I went to Vegas for Kagan Training. This cooperative learning technique is utilized in my classroom to help all students succeed.
I have been married to my husband, Frank, for nineteen years, and we have three “good-lookin’ “ boys. We are very proud of each one. My oldest, Robert, is in college in San Diego, CA. My middle son, Zach, attends Hernando High School and loves fishing. My youngest, Cody, is an eighth grader at Hernando Middle, and loves riding four wheelers and hunting.
We are very active in our church, and all its activities. Every night I am either at a sporting event, or a church activity. My life is filled with a very busy schedule, but I know I am building memories for a lifetime! Children are a very special part of my life, and I could never imagine a day not filled with them!
