Parents/Students,

Hi, and welcome to 4th grade! I am so thankful that you are giving me the opportunity to teach your child! There are many new and exciting things planned for my classroom this school year. We are going to have a fantastic time, and I cannot wait to get to meet and know all of my new 4th grade kiddos.
Let me share a few things about myself.  I am a Desoto County School graduate, so I know how wonderful the schools are in this county and what wonderful teachers and students are present here. I graduated from Olive Branch High, and my husband and I currently reside in Hernando, MS. I love Hernando, and I am so proud to call it home. I went to college at Delta State University. I bleed green and white, and I am a proud "Fighting Okra".   My husband and I will be celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary at the end of September. We have two boys who have brought us so much joy. Family is everything to me.  My son Ryan is 13 and will  be an 8th grader at HMS this year.  My youngest, John Abram, will  be in 4th grade at OGCE this year. I am looking forward to once again having my own child at my school.

Aside from spending time with my wonderful family; I enjoy reading, participating in activities at my church, traveling, cooking, watching my boys play soccer and baseball, cheering on the ATL Braves, and being at the beach.

This is my 18th year as a teacher, and I absolutely love my job!  I believe that teaching is truly my special calling in life, and I will do anything I can to make sure that your child has a successful year in 4th grade.  As a team, we can work together to build your child's reading and language skills. I'm looking forward to a fantastic year! Again, thank you for giving me the opportunity to teach your child!

                                            Sincerely, Mrs. Hollingsworth
