Assistant Principal's Bio

I am very excited to be serving as the Assistant Principal at Oak Grove Central Elementary School. It is a privilege to become a part of such an amazing group and I look forward to all we will accomplish this year!

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Union University and my Master’s Degree from Arkansas State University. I have worked at Southaven High School since 2004, serving in both the Special Education and Math Departments. While I have worked as an Inclusion teacher and taught several different math classes, the last several years I served as Lead Teacher of the Algebra I team. I have been married to my husband, Billy, since 1988, and we live in Southaven. We have been blessed with five children, Houston (29), Dustin (28), Savanah (24), Dillon (21) and Breanna (18). I am proud to call DeSoto County home and appreciate the opportunity to serve in our community.

It’s a great time to be a Hernando Tiger and I am so excited to be working with the students at OGCES!
