Welcome to P.E.

My name is Jamie "Coach" Cross.  This is my 11th year in Desoto County Schools.  For the past 10 years I have taught P.E. at Desoto Central Middle and Lake Cormorant Middle.  I was the head volleyball, basketball, and track coach at both schools.

 I played volleyball at Northwest Shoals Community College in Muscle Shoals, Alabama and finished playing at Mississippi State University where I received my Bachelors Degree.  I am currently working on getting my masters degree from Arkansas State University.  

 I am taking a break from coaching to focus more on my family.  I have 3 girls Cami, Callie, and Caci.  I am super excited to be at Oak Grove Central and making it my home for me and my family.  I look forward to focusing on P.E. and to teach kids that exercising can be fun.  I hope to introduce new and exciting activities they have never experienced before.
