My name is Brittany Purnell. I will be teaching Science and Math. This will be my 13th year teaching, but 13 years in education. I graduated from Mississippi State University in December of 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Sciences, with a concentration in Apparel, Textiles, and Merchandising.

Two years later I felt as if something was missing and became an assistant teacher. After being an assistant teacher for one year, I decided to enroll in an alternate route program for education at Delta State University. I completed the program in August of 2011 and received a Master of Arts in Teaching degree. I am always striving to improve and learn more, so in the summer of 2012 I went back to school. I attended The University of Mississippi and completed an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership in December of 2013.
