Welcome to Oak Grove Central Elementary. I am a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) from Columbus, MS and graduated in 2007 from Mississippi University for Woman with my Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology. After college, I lived in Pensacola, FL and met my husband, John Charles while he was in the USAF. We have lived in many places over the past several years due to being a military family but decided to make this our permanent home in January of 2019. We have two children, Ella and Gavin. I started my career working with adults with speech, language, and/or swallowing deficits but switched to evaluating and providing therapy to preschool and elementary aged children in the schools in 2011. When I'm not working, I love spending time with family, going to the beach and the mountains, reading books on my Kindle app, going to concerts, and watching my favorite TV shows and Mississippi State and Dallas Cowboys football.

I love working at this school and enjoy my group of students so much. If you ever have any questions or concerns relating to you child's speech or language skills, please feel free to contact me by email, schoology, teams app, the school phone number, or school status.

Word Bubble. Speech-Language Pathology is more than just words. This speech bubble design includes words that represent the SLP scope of practice. Perfect for your favorite SLP / speech therapy swag!
